We are recruiting at postdoctoral, technical, and graduate levels. Prospective graduate students should apply through the Division of Biological Sciences and are encouraged to contact Dr. Chabu directly. Open positions are listed below.
Postdoctoral Fellow or Research Specialist/Technician
Engineered Bacterial Immunotherapy for Pancreatic Cancer
A research position is available in the Chabu Lab to drive the iSTORM program, an attenuated bacterial delivery platform engineered to reverse immunosuppression in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma. The role will lead or support preclinical development of tumor-selective bacterial agents that deliver immunomodulatory payloads into the pancreatic tumor microenvironment.
The work spans bacterial engineering and molecular cloning, syngeneic mouse tumor models, and multiplex flow cytometry and immune profiling.
We are recruiting at either level and will match appointment, scope, and salary to the candidate’s training and experience. Ph.D. scientists seeking a translational postdoc and candidates with a bachelor’s or master’s degree seeking pre-graduate research experience are both encouraged to apply. Experience with single-cell RNA-seq or high-resolution imaging is a plus.
To apply, email a CV, a brief statement of research interests and career goals, and contact information for references to Dr. Chabu. Please indicate which level you are applying for, or note if you are open to either. Review begins immediately and continues until filled.
