About Us
The Chabu Lab is a multidisciplinary research team interested in understanding molecular and cellular mechanisms that govern tissue growth during organ development and how these processes are subverted in cancer. We are dissecting developmental signaling networks that control tissue growth and tissue-host interactions. The goal is to uncover core principles of tissue growth and to define how these processes are deregulated in tumors to drive malignant progression, immune evasion, and therapeutic resistance. Our work spans basic research in developmental biology and translational efforts.
